Cultural information:  "Bladderwort" is not winter hardy here in Colorado, but can be moved indoors to and aquarium to greenhouse pond that is very well lit. Rarely the plant may drop fruits to the bottom of the pond that will germinate the next season. "Bladderwort" lives most of it's life slightly submerged... rising to the surface to flower, then submerging again. "Bladderwort" feeding habits resemble a carnivorous plants... as it traps and consumes small aquatic creatures. Remove dead or dying foliage and flowers as they appear.
