Cultural information: Even if your new to water gardening... your familiar with this plant.... the "Common Cattail". They can be found at nearly any pond, lake, or slow moving stream.

Preferably set plants directly in a large pond. Their roots can be very sharp and pointy... so take care not to puncture your liner. "Common Cattail" may also be grown in large baskets at a maximum depth of 6". Remove dead or dying foliage in the fall.
