| Cultural
information: "Giant Cowslip" grows quite
large... a great choice for large open areas. During late summer
it produces fragrant, light yellow flowers that are held high
above the plant. Flower heads face downward... technically known
as nodding. Plant in partial shade in fertile, moist or boggy
soils at the ponds or streams edge. Giant Cowslip prefers peat moss rich or
acidic soils... but any fertile soil will do.
