Cultural information: "Marsh Primrose" is a small rosette forming plant. They are perfect for tight areas near the pond. During late summer "Marsh Primrose" produces clusters of fragrant funnel shaped... white, yellow or violet flowers. Plant in partial shade in fertile, moist or boggy soils. It prefers peat moss rich or acidic soils... but any fertile soil will do. Primula alpicola will tolerate full sun if the soil is constantly moist.
