Cultural information: "Water Milfoil" is a common tropical aquarium plant. It is not winter hardy in Colorado. It spends most of it life submerged nearly out of sight, raising to the surface in summer to flower. "Water Milfoil" is a oxygenating plant that can be over wintered indoors in a well lit aquarium.

Plant in spring after danger of frost has passed by dropping weighted sections directly into the pond. Propagate by pulling off sections... adding weight and re-submerging them. Recommended for small to large ponds.

There are two other varieties of Myriophyllum grown in ponds. Look for Myriophyllum spicatum and Myriophyllum verticillatum.
