information: "Water Hyacinths" are among the
most common water plant and should be readily available. They are
quite easy to grow. "Water Hyacinths" are not winter
hardy... but could be over wintered in doors in a greenhouse or
very well lit aquarium half filled with water. The above photo was
taken at Southwest Gardens in Wheat Ridge, Co. They grow
"Water Hyacinths" in a greenhouse pond. Remove dead or dying
foliage and flowers as they appear. |
