Field notes: Common Mullein is a native of Asia that has
spread across many parts of North America. Although I find the
plant attractive... it has become an invasive pest because of the
enormous amount of seed that each plant produces.
Look for Common
Mullein nearly any where the sun shines from the Plains to
Foothills ecosystems.
