Field notes: Canada Goldenrod is perhaps the easiest
Goldenrod to identify. It grows taller than most of the plants in
the Solidago family. Look for Canada Goldenrod in dry sunny areas
such as open fields and meadows, hillsides, and along roadways.
Canada Goldenrod is very drought tolerant making it a good choice
for the xeriscape or wildflower gardens.
