Wildflower Field notes: Whipple Penstemon has a very striking flower. It can be found in two color shades... creamy white and dark purple. Whipple Penstemon can only be found at high elevations. 

Look for Whipple Pensemon in full sun in meadows, clearings, hillsides, and along roads.
