Wildflower
Field notes: Oxeye Daisy was originally native to Eurasia. It
has escaped domestic cultivation and can be found growing wild
from the plains to montane ecosystems. Oxeye Daisy is now quite
common preferring to grow in sunny open areas such as fields,
meadows, forest clearings and along roadways.
We have been told by a site visitor that it is
illegal for garden centers to sell Oxeye Daisy as it is an invasive plant in Colorado.
