Pictured Wildflower: Rocky Mountain Iris - Iris missouriensis
Wildflower Field notes: Rocky Mountain Iris is easy to identify. It looks very similar to the cultivated varieties we all know. Although the pictured plant is thriving in my arid dirt driveway... look for them in moist meadows or clearings, and along streams and ponds.
