Field notes: Pink Gilia is related to Western Scarlet Gilia.
Pink Gila is quite common and easy to locate. Just find some Western Scarlet Gilia
and you'll find some Pink Gilia nearby. Look for it growing in dry sunny
areas along roadways, fields and meadows, and clearings in
forests.
Pink Gilia is very drought tolerant making it
an excellent choice for the xeriscape or wildflower garden.
