Wildflower Field notes: Gumweed is a very pretty plant... but I really dislike it. If you happen to brush up against Gumweed while wearing short pants when the flowers are ripe, the plant will coat your leg with sticky sap. Look for Gumweed along sunny roadways, trails, and open fields.
