Wildflower Field notes: Spotted Coralroot is actually an Orchid. Its a member of the Orchidacceae family. Although fairly common. Spotted Coralroot is somewhat difficult to locate. 

Look Spotted Coralroot in shady areas of fir, spruce or aspen forests.
