Cultivation:
Plant Coral Trumpet Honeysuckle vine in full sun in compost rich, well drained soil.
This easy to grow vine tolerates light shade, but shade also
reduces the volume of flowers the plant will produce.
Coral Honeysuckle is a very vigorous
climber that requires some type of support. The vine is best used
on trellises, fences arbors or pergolas, but the twining vines will
cover virtually anything.
Coral Trumpet Honeysuckle produces showy clusters of 2" trumpet like flowers late summer
to early fall. Flowers are usually produced on older stems, so it
is best to prune the vine after it has finished flowering.
Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Vines at your local Garden Center or
Nursery. Soft wood stem cuttings can be rooted during summer.
