Cultivation: Plant in partial to full shade in well drained soil. Adapts to most soil types and tolerates drought quite well. The "Barren Strawberry" gets it's name from it's Strawberry growth habit.

Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring and moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For much quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established rhizomes may be divided in early spring.
