Cultivation:
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Tolerates partial shade.
Space new container grown plants 10" - 24" apart. Veronica
'Heidenkind'
grows well in poor soils. Fairly drought tolerant. Flowers are
good for cutting.
Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in fall and held
until the next growing season. Since most of us are unable to do
this your best bet is to purchase pre-started plants at your local
Garden Center. Once established plants can be divided in spring or
fall. Divide every 3 - 5 years to maintain vigor.
Potential pests ~ diseases:
Mildews. |
