Cultivation:
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. "Variegated Lemon
Thyme" adapts to most soil types and is very drought
tolerant. Before buying any variety of "Thyme" test it's
fragrance... it should have a strong scent. "Lemon
Thyme" has citrus scented foliage. Cut if fresh from the
garden for cooking! Great on fish or chicken.
Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring,
then planted outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For
quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden
Center. Once established... plants can be divided in spring.
