Cultivation:
Plant in full sun to partial shade in compost rich, well drained soil.
"Golden Banner" is very drought
tolerant. Their flowers are excellent for cutting. "Golden
Banner's" identical twin... Thermopsis divaircarpa can be
found growing wild in the foot hills.
Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring,
then planted outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For
quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden
Center. "Golden Banner" is very difficult to relocate or
divide once established. Before planting, be sure that were you
plant it... is where you want it.
