Cultivation: Plant in full sun to light shade in compost rich, well drained soil. Fairly drought tolerant. If you can't grow Lupines, you can surely grow the "False Lupine".

Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring, then planted outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. "False Lupine" is very difficult to relocate or divide once established. Before planting, be sure that were you plant it... is where you want it.
