Cultivation:
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Tanacetum prefers to be
planted in sandy soils... but will adapt to most soil types except
hard heavy soils. Fairly drought tolerant. Good choice for rock gardens. Flowers are good for cutting and
attracting butterflies.
Propagation:
Seed can be planted directly in the ground after danger of hard
frost has passed. For a quicker show... purchase pre-started
plants at your local Garden Center. Once established plants can be
divided in spring.
