Cultivation:
Plant in partial to full shade in moist but well drained soil.
"Irish Moss" will adapt to most soil types as long as
the soil is constantly moist. Sagina dislikes hot and dry
conditions. Grows well in containers.
Propagation:
Seed needs to be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in fall,
then moved outdoors the following spring. Your best bet is to
purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once
established plants can be divided in spring.
