Cultivation:
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. "Black Beauty
Coneflower" tolerates most soils, heat and drought well.
Space new container grown plants 24" - 36" apart. Flowers are good for cutting and attracting butterflies.
Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring,
then moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker
growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center.
Once established plants can be divided in spring or early fall.
