Cultivation:
Plant in full sun to partial shade in light, compost rich, moist,
well drained soil. Space new container grown plants 18" -
24" apart. "Balloon Flowers" are quite unique...
the flower bud is puffy and somewhat pressurized, which actually
'Pops" open. Flowers are excellent for cutting.
Propagation:
Seed can be planted directly in the ground once danger of frost
has passed. For quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at
your local Garden Center. Once established "Balloon
Flower" can be divided late spring to early summer.
