Perennial Cultivation: Nailwort derived its common name because it is an easy to grow perennial that is "tuff as nails". Nailwort is a small mat forming ground cover that produces an abundance of insignificant white flowers in mid summer and continues to bloom for several months. Nailwort's tiny grayish-green leaves remain evergreen throughout the winter.

Plant Nailwort in full sun in well drained soil. It tolerates most soil types well. An excellent choice for high altitude gardens. Nailwort is useful for alpine and rockgardens, edging, and containers.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Nailwort plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, plants may be divided in spring.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Rare.
