Perennial Cultivation: Japanese Spurge is originally native to Japan. This mat forming perennial groundcover is ideally suited to part shade or full shade. Its glossy green foliage is evergreen, meaning it will stay green year round. During late April or sometime in May Japanese Spurge will produce a short, single flower spike lined with small insignificant white flowers.

Plant Japanese Spurge in partial to full shade in moist, well drained soil. It tolerates most soil types well. To much sun tends to bleach and burn the foliage.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Japanese Spurge plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, plants can be divided or stem cuttings can be rooted in spring.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Rare.
