Perennial
Cultivation:
The Pale Evening Primrose is very similar to the Evening or
Missouri Primrose.
Plant them in full sun in well drained soil. They tolerate poor soils and
drought extremely well. A good choice for dry slopes or walls.
Propagation:
Pale Evening Primrose seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse and moved
outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker growth,
purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Space new container grown plants 18"
- 24" apart. Once
established, runners can be separated and re-planted in spring.
Potential pests ~ diseases:
Mildews or root rot if kept to wet. |
