A Native Plant is classified as a species that naturally
grows wild, in a particular geographic region without human intervention.
What is... an invasive plant?
An Invasive Plant... is classified as any introduced plant
species that is so vigorous that it quickly overwhelms native plants...
endangering their existence. Invasive plants can be very damaging to an
ecosystem. They are rapidly spreading at a rate of 4600 acres per day on
public lands.
The Colorado Native Plant Society has allowed us to post their
