Perennial Cultivation: Hollyhock Mallow produces an abundance of pink flowers beginning mid spring until the end of the growing season. This clump forming perennial prefers to be planted in a location that will give it some shelter from high winds.

Plant Hollyhock Mallow in full sun in well drained soil. It adapts to most soil types and tolerates short periods of drought well. Hollyhock Mallow plants are short lived but re-seed freely. To help  prevent unwanted spread, remove spent flower heads.

Propagation:
Hollyhock Mallow seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring and moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker growth purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center or greenhouse.
