Cultivation:
Plant Great Blue Lobelia in full sun to partial shade in fertile, moist to wet soil.
It is an excellent choice for planting along the edges of ponds or
streams, or any type of water feature. The bluish flowers of this
hardy perennial are good for cutting.
Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Great Blue Lobelia plants at your local Garden Center. Once
the plants become established, they may be dug and divided in late spring to early summer.
Stem cuttings may be taken and rooted anytime during the summer.
