Cultivation: "Tree Mallow" may be marginally hardy in some areas of Colorado. Plant in full sun in well worked, well drained soil. "Tree Mallow" tolerates most soil types and drought well. Avoid planting in areas that are subject to cold... drying winds. Cut back heavily in early spring. Flowers are good for cutting.

Propagation:
Seed needs to be started one season in advance of planting outdoors. Your best bet is to purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Cuttings may be taken during spring.
