Perennial Cultivation: Plant Yellow Iris in full sun to partial shade in fertile soil. Space new container grown plants 24" - 36" apart.

Yellow Flag Iris can be planted as a marginal plant at the edge of a pond or stream. In temperate regions Yellow Flag Iris is considered an invasive aquatic plant.

Yellow Flag Iris flowers are excellent for cutting for use in floral arrangements. After the plant has finished flowering just remove the flower spike but don't cut the plant back to the ground. All parts of Iris are poisonous.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started plants from your local Garden Center. Once established, plants may be divided during mid-summer.
