Perennial Cultivation: Plant Hardy Summer Gloxinia's in a protected area in partial sun in moist, fertile, well drained soil. 

The "Hardy Summer Gloxinia" should be mulched for winter protection. Avoid planting them in areas that stay wet over the winter. Summer Gloxinia's are excellent when grown in containers, and could be moved to a sun room or greenhouse at the end of the growing season. Flowers are good for cutting.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Summer Gloxinia plants at your local Garden Center. Plant them in a permanent location as their large tap roots dislike being disturbed.
