Perennial Cultivation: Plant Orange Sneezeweed in full sun in fertile well drained soil. Most varieties of Helenium tolerates drought quite well. 

Space new container grown plants 18" - 24" apart. Deadhead to promote new flower growth. "Orange Sneezeweed" attracts butterflies and bees... if you look closely you will see a bee on the upper left flower. 

Orange Sneezeweed is excellent as a cut flower for fresh floral arrangements. Helenium hoopesii is a native Colorado plant.

Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring, then moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For a quicker show of color purchase pre-started Helenium plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, plants can be divided in spring.
