Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina'
Perennial Cultivation: The 'Ballerina' variety of Cranesbill is an excellent choice for rock gardens or for under planting among large evergreen trees. 

Plant Carnesbill in any fertile well drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Most varieties of Cranesbill tolerates nearly all soil types well except for soils that are constantly wet. Avoid planting in areas that are wet while the plant is dormant. 

Space new container grown plants 10" - 12" apart depending on how quickly you want the area to fill in. 'Ballerina' grows well in containers and is a good choice for mountain homes.

Propagation:
Seed can be sown directly in the ground once the soil has warmed. For the quickest showing purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Established plants can be divided in early spring.
