Perennial Cultivation: Plant Blanket Flowers in full sun in fertile well drained soil. Gaillardia 'Baby Cole' tolerates most soil types. Space new container grown plants 6" - 8" apart. Blanket Flower is drought tolerant and heat resistant. Dead head in late September.

Blanket Flowers are excellent for cutting and attracting Butterflies.. A good for perennial container planting.

Propagation:
Plant Blanket Flower seed directly in the ground after danger of hard frost has passed. The plants should flower during their first season. For faster growth purchase pre-started plants from your local garden center. Once established, plants may be divided in spring.
