Perennial Cultivation: Gailardia Burgunder prefers to be plant in full sun in fertile well drained soils. Gaillardia 'Burgunder' tolerates most soil types especially well. 

Space new container grown Gailardia Burgunder plants about 18" apart. It is very drought tolerant and heat resistant. Dead head in September. 

Gailardia flowers are excellent for cutting and attracting Butterflies.

Propagation:
Plant Gailardia Burgunder seed directly in the ground after danger of hard frost has passed. The ne seedlings should flower during their first season. For quicker flowering purchase pre-started plants from your local garden shop. Once established, plants may be divided in spring.
