Perennial Cultivation: Plant Chocolate Snakeroot in full sun to partial shade in a moist area. It tolerates most soil types well. Space new container grown plants 18" - 24" apart. Chocolate Snakeroot flowers attract butterflies and are good for fresh floral arrangements.

Propagation:
Chocolate Snakeroot seed can be sown in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring, then moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker results purchase pre-started plants in packs or pots from your local Garden Center. Once established, Eupatorium plants are easy to divide in spring.
