Alpine Sea Holly
Perennial
Cultivation:
Plant Alpine Sea Holly in full sun in fertile, well drained soil.
Sea Holly adapts to most
soil types quite well and is fairly drought tolerant. "Alpine Sea Holly"
freely re-seeds itself. Dead head after flowering to prevent over
crowding, spread, and to promote new flower growth.
Most Erigeron flowers are good for cutting for use in either dried
or fresh arrangements.
Propagation:
Alpine Sea Holly seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse, then
moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed or purchase
pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established,
plants can be divided in spring.
