Cultivation:
Plant Shooting Stars in full sun to partial shade, in fertile well drained soil.
Shooting Stars prefers a moist location. Plants will decline in
health and go dormant by mid to late summer.
Their Cyclamen type flowers are excellent for cutting.
Propagation:
Dodecatheon seed is difficult to germinate. It is best to purchase pre-started plants
at your local Garden Center. Once the Shooting Star plants have
become established, they may be
divided in early spring.
