Perennial
Cultivation:
Plant Dianthus Clove Pink in full sun in well drained soil. "Clove Pink"
adapts to most soil types and is drought tolerant. Space new
container grown plants 10" - 12" apart. Dianthus flowers are
very fragrant and excellent for cutting. Cheddar Pinks grow well in containers.
Propagation: Dianthus seeds can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring
and moved outdoors after danger of hard frost has passed, or
purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Plants
can be divided in early spring.
