Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips'
Perennial Cultivation: Plant Turtleheads in full sun to partial shade in fertile soil. Chelone prefers to be grown in a constantly moist location. Space new container grown Chelone plants 24" apart. "Hot Lips" glossy green foliage turns bronze in fall. 

Propagation:
Chelone seed can be germinated in a cold frame... but this process is very slow. For quicker growth purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Turtlehead plants can be divided in early spring.
