Perennial Cultivation: Plant Bolton's Aster in full sun to partial shade in fertile well drained soil. "Starflower" adapts to most soil types well. Space new container grown plants 30" - 36" apart. Rhizomes should be divided every 3 - 4 years to maintain vigor. The daisy like flowers are good for cutting.

Propagation:
Boltonia seeds can be started in a cold frame... but for quicker growth purchase pre-started Starflower plants at your local Garden Center. Plants can be divided their second season.
