Perennial Cultivation: Plant Heart Leaved Bergenia in full sun to partial shade in fertile well drained soil. Tolerates poor soils well. Space new container grown plants 18" - 24" apart. Bergenia dislikes high temperatures and long periods of drought. Flowers and foliage can be cut and used in fresh floral arrangements.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Heart Leaved Bergenia plants at your local Garden Center. Plants should be divided in the spring every 3 to 5 years to maintain vigor.
