Perennial Cultivation: Columbine Music Mix is a hybrid Columbine selection from Park Seed Company. The mix contains four vivid colors which flower mid to late spring with some flowers hanging on until mid summer. Butterflies and Hummingbirds are attracted to this mix.

Plant Music Mix Columbines in full sun to partial shade in fertile, moist well drained soil. Shade from summer heat is very beneficial to the plants vigor.

Propagation:
This perennial can easily be grown from seed. Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks prior to last frost then transplant to beds after danger of frost has passed. Columbine Music Mix should begin to flower during the first season with the best showing the following seasons.

For quicker results purchase pre-started Columbine plants at your local Garden Center or greenhouse. Space new container grown plants 18" - 24" apart. Columbine is difficult to transplant as the plants roots dislike being disturbed once established.
