Pussytoes is a perennial plant that is native to the area.
It can be found growing throughout the foothills of Colorado.
Pussytoes is very easy to grow and extremely drought tolerant once
established. Flowers appear mid spring and can vary from white to
creamy pink.
Plant Pussytoes in full sun to light partial shade in fertile, well
drained soil. It tolerates most soil types well. An excellent
choice for rock
gardens.
Propagation: Wild plants may be dug and relocated from
private property in early spring or purchase pre-started Pussytoes
plants from your local
Garden Center or greenhouse. Space transplants 6" to 8"
apart. Once established plants may be divided in the
spring.
