Large White Standard Calla LiliesCalla Lilies are members of the Zantedeschia family. Originally large white Calla Lilies were native to Southern Africa. Today large white Calla Lilies have become an important floriculture crop grown in temperate climates in the United States and South America. The Green Goddess Calla Lily (pictured above right) is considered "Closed Cut". "Closed Cut" Calla Lilies are harvested before the flower has had a chance to open. Mini Calla Lilies
Mini Calla Lilies are much smaller than standard Calla Lilies. Mini Calla Lilies are often sold by the 10 stem bunch. Bunches are graded by stem length into 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, and 60cm bunches. Each step up in stem length generally increases the price of the bunch. Mini Calla Lily flowers are usually 1.5" to 3" long and about 2" to 2.5" wide. Their small pencil like stems are quite strong and suitable for any type of wedding work. Other articles... Choosing a Wedding Florist
