information: "Witch Hazel" is a small shrub
like tree that is best purchased
from your local Garden Center or Nursery.
Common Witch Hazel is easy to grow. Plant in full sun to
partial shade in fertile well drained soil. Witch Hazel is
tolerant of poor or clay soils. If "Witch
Hazel" is planted in a partially shaded area it will reward
you with a striking display of late fall color.
The forked branches of Witch Hazel have been
used for water witching.
