Herbs Cultural information: "French Tarragon" has a strong licorice flavor when chewed. 

You will have better success growing "French Tarragon" by purchasing pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Plant French Tarragon in full sun to partial shade in fertile well drained soil in beds or containers. Space plants 18" to 24" apart. "French Tarragon" can be grown in containers and moved indoors to a sunny window or sunroom for the winter.

French Tarragon plants can be propagated either by cuttings or dividing established plants during spring.

Harvesting & Storage: "French Tarragon" can be harvested any time once the plants have become established. French Tarragon is best used fresh... but it can be frozen. 

Hang bunches in a warm dark location for drying. Once dried, store in an airtight container.
