Herbs Cultural information: "Sweet Woodruff" is another herb that is very difficult to start from seed. Visit your local Garden Center to purchase pre-started plants. 

Plant Sweet Woodruff in partial to full shade. Protection from mid day heat helps to keep the plants vigorous. Space container grown plants 8" to 12" apart. Sweet Woodruff prefers to have constantly moist soil.

Harvesting & Storage: "Sweet Woodruff" can be harvested any time once the plants have become established. 

Cut bunches and hang in a warm, dry, dark place to dry. Or the leaves can be chopped and dried on screens or paper. Store dried leaves in a tight closing container.
